G2i offers a central location in Western Europe, thanks to its location close to all important economic concentrations. After all, the Ghent canal zone is part of the important economic development axis connecting the Netherlands with the region around Paris. The G2i business sites have direct connections over water, road and rail to Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Antwerp, Brussels and the north of France.

The G2i business sites are in the middle of a so-called "European Distribution Area", part of the "logistical banana". The most important European economic concentrations with a strong transport and logistical sector.
